Meijer

When we first got to Schaumburg and needed to buy groceries, we were directed to Meijer. Meijer looks and feels like a Super Wal-Mart, but Meijer was actually the first to combine grocery and department store items in one store. It’s such an impressive, large store that I was surprised I hadn’t heard of it before.

African Butt Dance

Traditionally a ritualistic mating dance from the Congo, this move is sure to clear the dance floor as others observe in awe. Requires flexibility in the hips and good balance.

Museum of Science and Industry

Roseli and Ethan went to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry yesterday. My dad went there when he was a teenager, as well. It’s probably pretty different now. Unfortunately, I was working, but didn’t sell anything.

I'm experimenting with video blogging, or vlogging, now that we have a webcam. I'm still trying to figure things out. So here are my first videos. Thanks to the creators of the freevlog tutorial. They're great! Here's Ethan Zimmerman, 2 years and 5 months, singing the Spiderman theme song, and injuring his dad.
